Datum Electronics Marine Torsionmeter Systems provide an accurate tool to assess and monitor propeller shafts on ships by measuring shaft speed, torque and power. Installed on a ships propeller shaft or shafts and uses strain gauge technology providing a highly accurate non-contact method of measuring shaft torque. Applications available for sea trials, permanent fit, dual or single shaft applications, with shaft sizes from 160mm-1100mm diameter.
